• Congratulations to Mimi Perreault. She received a High Pass on her thesis “Covering the Haiti Earthquake of 2010.” The thesis was a newswork study of journalists who covered the first month of the Haiti disaster. It included an analysis of news coverage, as well as a survey, and interview of journalists. She will graduate with a Master’s of Arts in Communication, Culture and Technology as well as a certificate in the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program from Georgetown University on December 23.
